Michele received her Hatha Yoga certification from her long time mentor Anna Pittman, with whom she continues to study. She has been teaching yoga for ten years, and established her own yoga studio in Scottsville nine years ago. Her style incorporates dynamic flow with a focus on alignment-based principles to fine-tune the postures. She finds the body to be the best guide, and believes that asana practice is about creating space in the body for breath, and space in the mind for joy.
In 2012, Michele earned her 500 hour certification completing her training in Yoga Therapy through the Inner Peace Yoga Therapy program. It has allowed her to embrace an integrated approach while weaving many modalities together; thai yoga massage, ayurveda, reiki, asana practice, meditation, and mentoring vyasti sadhana.
